1. Our approach

2. Information we collect

The app requires no account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location or contacts through the app. We collect the following:

1. Information needed to issue a code: the model number and serial number of your navigation unit, sent to our server to generate the unlock code.
2. Purchase information: payment is processed by Apple through in-app purchase. We never receive your card details. We verify the transaction identifier Apple issues in order to confirm the purchase.
3. Information you send us: your name, email address, message, and optionally the model and serial number.
4. Website request data: our servers may briefly log IP address, browser type and access time to keep the site secure.

We use no advertising cookies, no tracking technologies and no third-party ad networks.

3. How we use it

We use the information above only for the following purposes:

• Issuing and reissuing unlock codes, including the free hybrid code
• Confirming purchases and preventing misuse
• Answering your enquiries and supporting you through a refund request
• Maintaining the security and quality of the service

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not disclose personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law, where necessary to protect someone's life, body or property and consent is difficult to obtain, or where otherwise permitted under the APPI.

5. Service providers

We rely on the following providers to operate the service, and may entrust information to them to the extent necessary:

• Hosting and website delivery: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)

These providers are located outside Japan, so information may be processed on overseas servers. We confirm that each takes appropriate measures to protect personal information. Information about data protection regimes in other countries is published by Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission.

6. Retention
