How it works
How to generate a code in the app and enter it on your navigation unit. It takes a few minutes.
What you need
iPhone or iPad
With ERC Calculator installed.
Your model number
Printed on the edge of the unit or in its manual. For example NSZT-W68T.
Stable power
Work with the engine running so the unit does not lose power partway through.
Steps
- 1 Navigation unit
Open the unlock code screen
Turn the unit on and the security code entry screen appears, showing the 16-digit serial number.

Choose your model
Pick your model from the list. If it is not there, search, or choose "Other / unknown model".

Scan the serial number
Point the camera at the unit and the app reads the 16 digits. You can also type them. Check the number before sending.

Buy and receive your code
Purchase through the App Store and the unlock code appears immediately. Your payment details never reach us.

Enter the code on the unit
Type the code into the entry screen and confirm. [Unit button sequence: match the app tutorial]

Confirm it unlocked
The unit returns to its normal screen. If the code is rejected, see "If the code does not work" below.

If the code does not work
One of these usually solves it. The same guidance is in the app under "Code not working?".
Hybrid vehicles (68T series)
Tap "Try the hybrid code" in the app to get another code from the same serial, once and free. Try them in the order shown.
Check the serial number
Look for confusions between 0 and O, or 1 and I. Scanning with the camera avoids this.
SD card and internal memory
Check the map SD card is properly inserted. An internal memory fault can also cause a code to be rejected.
12V battery voltage
Low voltage can stop the unit working correctly. Try again with the engine running.
