Unlocking hybrid vehicles
Hybrid vehicles can need a different unlock code. On the 68T units we issue a second one at no extra cost.
Why the code differs
On the 68 series (NSZT-W68T, NSZT-Y68T, NSZN-Z68T), the required unlock code can differ depending on the vehicle, for example whether it is a hybrid. That is why a correct code can still be rejected. It is not a typing error: it comes from the combination of unit and vehicle.
How the app handles it

Choose your model and enter the 16-digit serial number as normal to get a code.

If the unit rejects it, open "Code not working?" on the unlock code screen.

Tap "Try the hybrid code" and the app issues a hybrid code, once, at no extra cost.

Enter them on the unit in the order shown. No extra charge, no form to fill in.
Vehicles this usually affects
68T units fitted to hybrids such as the Prius, Aqua, Corolla, Voxy, Noah, Sienta and C-HR. It depends on the combination of unit and vehicle specification rather than the model of car alone.
Please note
The no-extra-cost hybrid code applies to the 68T units (NSZT-W68T, NSZT-Y68T, NSZN-Z68T). On earlier models the standard unlock code almost always works. If it does not, contact support.
